Cappuccino

The most famous Italian style breakfast in the world include Cappuccino and Croissant! Cappuccino is usually done with a machine but if you don’t have one it’s okay you can still do it home.

Note: Foam’s consistency depends on the milk’s fat content. For the most velvety, rich cappuccino, use whole milk.

Ingredients

  • Espresso

  • Milk

Preparation

  • first prepare a small cup of espresso and add the amount of sugar you need.

  • Heat up about half a cup of milk in the microwave until its really hot, but not quite boiling. I put mine in the microwave for one minute.

  • Take a whisk and whip the milk for a couple of minutes until you have a thick froth.

  • Swirl the glass in a circle to condense the foam together, and tap it on the counter to pop the bigger bubbles.

  • Immediately after one last swirl, pour the milk into the espresso, shaking your wrist side to side a bit to help the foam come out before the rest of the milk. This way it will sit nicely on top of the espresso.

Rama

I am A 23 years old coffee addict who’s passionate about every sip of her cup of coffee. I live in Dubai, so I hope I’ll be a good guide for those who are seeking to taste a good cup of coffee in town. My coffee addiction started since I was in grade 9, but before that i have always stolen some sips of my parent’s cups of coffee, GUILTY! I studied Food Science and Management at the American University of Beirut! and my seminar (graduation presentation) was about coffee and weight loss. One of my future plans that are related to coffee is taking some courses online scaaeducation.org to enrich my knowledge in this domain, and hopefully benefit you in return. Then i will be attending a workshop here in Dubai to get a closer look at coffee brewing, tasting, and buying pathways.
