I just love the idea of facials! Especially during a girls sleepover, where we get to wear our Victoria’s secret pink robe, do each others nails , cover our faces with facials, and take some fun pictures! And of course order a large four cheese pizza to spice up the mood…..
WELL !! i’ve found you a an easy facial that you and your friends can prepare easily (sounds fun No?) and at the same time benefit from it ! it also smells reallyyyyyyy GOOD
1/2 Cup ground organic coffee beans (you can grind your own or buy pre-ground)
1/2 Cup organic, unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Cup of unsweetened whole milk (if you aren’t a dairy person, sub for unsweetened almond milk)
1 Tbsp of lemon juice (for dry skin, try olive or almond oil)
1 Tbsp of honey (for extra oily or acne prone skin, use additional lemon juice here instead of honey)
Coffee Beans – Reduces inflammation and redness, and the appearance of under eye circles. As an exfoliator, removes dead skin and “wakes up” a tired complexion.
Cocoa Powder – A good source of antioxidants; repairs damage due to environmental pollutants and free radicals. Contains high levels of sulfur (great for fighting acne).
Milk – It is said that Cleopatra bathed in milk to give her skin a healthy glow. Lactic acid exfoliants while natural enzymes help to smooth skin. Amino acids keep skin hydrated.
Lemon Juice – Acts as an exfoliant. Contains natural vitamin C to ligten, tighten and brighten. Great for regulating oil production.
Honey – A natural humectant that locks in moisture.
I am A 23 years old coffee addict who’s passionate about every sip of her cup of coffee. I live in Dubai, so I hope I’ll be a good guide for those who are seeking to taste a good cup of coffee in town.
My coffee addiction started since I was in grade 9, but before that i have always stolen some sips of my parent’s cups of coffee, GUILTY!
I studied Food Science and Management at the American University of Beirut! and my seminar (graduation presentation) was about coffee and weight loss.
One of my future plans that are related to coffee is taking some courses online scaaeducation.org to enrich my knowledge in this domain, and hopefully benefit you in return. Then i will be attending a workshop here in Dubai to get a closer look at coffee brewing, tasting, and buying pathways.
